The PoppinPod is made with steel and tempered safety glass, making it a uniquely sturdy office pod among competitors made with particle board and MDF. We test our office pods to the highest standards—including testing for seismic events.

In a seismic event, like an earthquake, our office phone booths are tested for pod integrity, ensuring that the integrity of our pods will be maintained at the highest acceleration value for the continental United States. We use the industry standard AC-156 seismic test, which our PoppinPod passes with flying colors. Watch the video below to see the test in action! 

We also offer seismic anchors for PoppinPods, which prevent the pod from moving during a seismic event. We’ll work closely with you and your city and state rules to offer a seismic solution exactly right for your office.
