Warranty

WARRANTY FOR POPPIN BRAND FURNITURE

Poppin warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship given normal use and care for as long as the original customer owns and uses the product. The warranty is valid only if the product is given proper care and maintenance.

Normal use is defined as the equivalent of a single shift, forty-hour work week. In the event a product is used more than normal use, the applicable warranty period will be reduced to 12 years and items that fall under different warranty limitations, as listed below, will be reduced further to one-third the applicable period (ex: Wood tables will be 4 years instead of 12 years).

Poppin, at its option, will repair or replace any product shipped on or after November 1, 2022, with a comparable product, part, or component, if the claim is eligible under the conditions of this warranty.

Some products and parts may have limited warranty periods, be excluded from this warranty, or may be subject to different terms, as discussed herein.

EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not apply to:

  • Non-Furniture products (please refer to our Return Policy)

  • Third-Party Brand Products (including products by Byrne, Humanscale, Medify, and Pablo)

  • Damage caused by a carrier

  • Normal wear and tear that is expected during the period of ownership

  • The substitution of non-Company components for use in place of Company components

  • Appearance, durability, quality, behavior, colorfastness, or any other attribute of C.O.M. (Customer’s Own Materials) or any other non-standard material specified by the customer

  • Color, grain, or texture of wood, laminate, and other covering materials, including but not limited to, naturally occurring variations and differences in grain character and color between and within wood species, and natural variations in marble and leather

  • Fabric, leather, and felt fading and wear, discoloration from contact with liquids or change in color or texture caused by application of finishes (flame proofing, stain resistance)

  • Products considered to be of consumable nature (bulbs, light ballast, and certain electronic products)

  • Non-compliance with installation and maintenance instructions

  • Damages or failures resulting from modifications, alterations, misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper care and maintenance of our products

  • Mechanical and high wear parts, such as: electrical components, polymer-based components, door seals, pneumatic cylinders, arm pads, casters, chair glides, foam, and painted finishes

  • Note: The addition of seismic anchors to a PoppinPod is considered a modification that voids the warranty

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH ABOVE, THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE EXCLUDE AND WILL NOT PAY CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES UNDER THIS WARRANTY. TO THE EXTENT THEY ARE LEGALLY REQUIRED, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THE APPLICABLE WRITTEN WARRANTY, EXCEPTION, OR EXCLUSION.

TO PROCESS WARRANTY ISSUES

To initiate a claim, contact customer service by emailing claims@poppin.com or calling (888) 676-7746, Monday-Friday 9AM – 9PM ET, and provide them with the SKU number from the product in question, the sales order number, and a detailed description of the warranty issue. Sales order number(s) are mandatory before the claim can be processed.
Customer Service will determine and pre-approve all resolutions to the claim such as replacement units, service parts, labor, and repair charges. Upon approval, resolutions will be assigned an authorization number.

NOTES

This warranty is made to the original customer for as long as the original customer owns and uses the product. This warranty is only valid if the products are given normal and proper use and installed or used in accordance with the Company’s installation and/or application guidelines and installed by an authorized dealer or agent. The Company assumes no responsibility for repairs to products sustaining damages resulting from user modification, attachments to a product, misuse, abuse, alteration, or negligent use of our products.

Ongoing Product Care + Maintenance

Facility managers and users are urged to make periodic inspections to look for signs of structural fatigue, damage or potential failure that may occur because of daily handling and use. Inspections should include the structural joints, corner blocks, screws or fasteners, welds, and any other points of stress. If any problems are found, the product should be taken out of service and Poppin customer service should be contacted promptly.

Governing Law

This Warranty shall be construed, and all rights and obligations of the parties hereto, shall be determined in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana without regard to any principles governing conflicts of law.

Wood Finish Color Matching

Each piece of natural wood offers unique texture and grain. Minor variations in finish color and value may occur due to the natural characteristics of wood. The Company carefully selects all materials used in every product ensuring a commercially acceptable color and finish. Factors such as aging and exposure to light alter finishes.

WARRANTIES FOR THIRD-PARTY BRAND PRODUCTS

Humanscale Furniture Warranty Policy:

All Humanscale products carry a multi-year warranty. If there is a problem with your furniture, contact Poppin or Humanscale for service. Warranties are provided to the original end-user, are non-transferrable and are valid only when the product was purchased through an authorized Humanscale retailer.

Medify Air Purifier Warranty Policy:

Medify Air guarantees a lifetime warranty on all air purifiers, granted you complete and return your warranty registration to Medify Air within the first 30 days of purchase and filters are replaced with genuine Medify Air replacement filters. Other terms apply. See details contained in your shipment box or at: https://medifyair.com/pages/warranty-2 .

Medify Air Replacement Filters do not fall under the standard Medify Air lifetime warranty. If you've received a damaged or faulty filter, reach out to Poppin's customer service team at (888) 676-7746.

Pablo Designs Lighting Warranty Policy:

Pablo lamps are backed by a one-year limited warranty, which is available to the original purchaser and covers normal use conditions only. Non-LED light bulbs are exempt from this warranty.

Poppin will replace or repair the lamp or lamp components at its discretion. Costs for packing and shipping are not covered under this warranty.

Byrne Electrical Specialists, Inc. Warranty Policy:

Products manufactured by Byrne Electrical Specialists, Inc. (Byrne) are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the date of manufacture. More information is available here.
