Director of e-Commerce

Poppin's Director of eCommerce will tactically and strategically drive the success of Poppin’s website functionality and technology. The Director of eCommerce will be an enthusiastic and driven self-starter with a proven track record of taking the reins and responsibility for multiple simultaneous web development projects from concept to launch. Support all website operations and project delivery, drive implementation of new features and functions, as well as maintain and support existing functionality. Responsibilities:

Merchandise Planning Manager

Poppin’s Merchandise Planning Manager will maximize Poppin’s ROI on inventory by ensuring that we are stocked with the right levels of product at the right time. The successful Merchandise Planning Manager will be a driven self-starter with the ability and desire to build the inventory planning function at a fast-growing brand. (S)he will be highly analytical thinker with the leadership skills to implement new processes and grow with the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Create appropriate inventory turnover goals by category of business. Use inventory turnover goals to inform Open to Buy receipt plan by year/season/quarter/month
  • Regularly re-forecast required receipts each month based on selling trends and investments in new products/channels
  • Develop item-level sales forecasts by week for all items by channel. Compare item-level selling trends against initial forecasts to identify reorder needs.
  • Allocate available inventory OH units across channels and customer accounts. Regularly communicate to other functions inventory availability and On Order ETAs.
  • Partner with external retailers to maintain collaborative rolling forecasts for each account. Provide regular recaps on what’s selling/not selling by account and surface needs/opportunities for product reorders
  • Manage Open to Buy budget and write all company set and replenishment POs, ensuring that PO quantities are rounded to full casepack quantities. Identify opportunities to maximize Poppin’s profit and inventory turns by optimizing casepacks and reorder unit quantities/frequency
  • Maintain PO tracking grid to monitor incoming POs for on-time shipment and fill rate. Partner with Operations and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies as they arise.
  • Own process of setting up new items and vendors.
  • Develop and provide regular reporting for merchants and company recapping sales trends by category and distribution channel. Highlight slow-turning items and provide recommendations to Merchandising and Marketing on how to work through excess inventory.

Qualifications:

  • 4 year college degree with excellent academic performance.
  • 4+ years of work experience in merchandise planning roles. Experience operating in fast-growth vertically-integrated companies that have both retail and wholesale businesses is preferred.
  • Very strong analytical ability with 2+ years of experience forecasting item demand and planning replenishment. Must be capable of using Excel analysis to forecast future replenishment vs. relying on inventory management systems

Logistics Manager

Poppin’s new logistics manager has a passion for making operations runs flawlessly. Position Scope

Poppin is seeking a VP of Finance to join its senior management team. This is a newly created role reporting directly to the COO. The VP of Finance will be a critical member of the executive management team and he/she is a key participant in the growth strategy of the company. This position will play a key role in making sure that the collective strategies and tactics of the various functions are in alignment to meet the stated business objectives.

In addition, the VP of Finance will assure that the finance function of the organization consistently performs its core accounting, credit and reporting duties effectively and efficiently and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other regulatory and advisory organizations. The successful candidate will ensure that the financial infrastructure is established to support and position the company for rapid growth in all dimensions. He/she will assist the executive team in managing the projected workforce growth, systems and technology infrastructure required to meet its corporate goals and objectives. The VP of Finance will share accountability with the senior leadership team for achieving market share goals and profitability for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly Reporting and Business Analysis. Ensure the company's financial results are presented in a timely accurate manner with explanations of variances to plan, prior year, and prior forecasts.
  • Advise the management team on cash flow and policy matters
  • Internal Controls / Policy and Compliance. Safeguard the Company’s assets and oversee the financial controls.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience including 3+ years of management experience, ideally with external audit and in-house financial management experience gained in a high growth organization.
  • Certified CPA is preferred. MBA or Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is highly desirable.
  • A strong background in financial operations including planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating a company's finance function
  • Candidate must be committed to the highest possible business ethics and have excellent working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC, and all IRS reporting requirements
  • Entrepreneurial team player that can multi-task
  • Willing to 'roll-up his / her sleeves'; not dependent upon an army of support staff

Vice President, Marketing

Poppin's Vice President, Marketing will strategically drive Acquisition, Retention, Brand and Web Marketing. The VP of Marketing will have a proven track record of success running multiple online and offline marketing programs and e-commerce projects, and will manage and help build a rapidly growing team. Web Developer

Poppin’s Web Developer will work closely with the Marketing team on coding and development of retention email campaigns, promotional acquisition and retention web landing pages, social media projects such as Facebook tab development, and other ad hoc projects as needed.

  • Code web landing pages as needed by acquisition and retention marketing teams, and work on web landing page test campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or similar.
  • 1-2 years of web development experience
  • CSS, Javascript, HTML, JQuery experience required
  • Experience with object oriented programming
  • Experience in Java a major plus
  • Unit testing
  • Good communication skills
  • Track record of delivering high quality software on time
