Randy

Randy is an advertising technology and media executive with over 15 years of experience creating and leading highly successful public and private companies. In early 2012, Randy acquired an ownership interest in Poppin and assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Cabana Boy (this man loves the beach).

Prior to Poppin, Randy mapped out the concept for Demdex, Inc. on the back of a cocktail napkin and created the first-ever online Data Management Platform (DMP) in 2008. The company quickly established a leadership position in this rapidly growing sector and was acquired by Adobe Systems in January 2011. Needless to say, said napkin has gone platinum.

Before Demdex, Randy served as the CEO & Chairman of AzoogleAds (now Epic Advertising), the global advertising network he helped to dominate the performance advertising space. He grew revenues organically from $63 million to over $150 million in two years and established AzoogleAds as the leader in its category. No surprise really, his first business in 2nd grade was buying gum by the pack and selling it by the piece.
And now for the adult portion of the show: before joining AzoogleAds, Randy was the President of Playboy.com where he led the turn-around of the company’s internet, ecommerce and wireless businesses which created more than $200 million of equity value in just two years. Shortly thereafter, he was promoted to President of Worldwide Distribution and added the company’s Television and Home Video business lines to his list of responsibilities.

Randy is the youngest of 6 kids and the son of a former NFL coach. He graduated from Harvard University in 1992 and is an active member of the Young President’s Organization.

As for office products, well, they are in his blood. When you meet him, ask what he won the blue ribbon for at the State Fair when he was in ninth grade.
